I hope you're enjoying the summer. I must admit it's not my favourite time of year as I'm not a huge fan of warm weather although I do love watching and listening to summer sport.
I'm not sure why but my crafty mojo hasn't been exactly firing on all cylinders for a while (and apparently my blogging mojo, too!) so I recently returned to an "old favourite" crafting CD that I love, in an effort to get the creative juices flowing again.
Flower Boutique CD by Debbi Moore Designs has been around for a while now but I find it a really inspirational CD. My copy came with two durable plastic stencils which you can use in conjunction with the elements on the CD to produce stunning, embossed flower designs which can really lift a project. Alternatively, you can emboss the flowers and cut them out to make your own embellishments which is what I've done here with this easel card.
After embossing, I cut and layered up the flowers and small sections of backing papers onto some embossed die-cut mats made from white Centura Pearl card. I then added a die-cut swirl and a silver mirror board die-cut butterfly. Two small white bows, three silver brads and my new favourite crafty item, Ranger Liquid Pearls, were then added for extra "bling".
At last. A finished card. Hope you like it. Stay cool!
